The Cancer Marker Profile at Aadya Diagnostics Centre is a vital diagnostic tool designed for the early detection and monitoring of various malignancies. This profile utilizes advanced serological testing to identify specific “tumor markers”—substances often produced at higher levels by cancer cells or by the body in response to cancer. Our comprehensive panel includes key markers such as PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) for prostate health, CA-125 for ovarian cancer screening, CA 19.9 for pancreatic and gastrointestinal concerns, CA 15.3 for breast cancer monitoring, and CEA (Carcinoembryonic Antigen) for colorectal and various other cancers. Additionally, we test for AFP (Alpha-Fetoprotein) to screen for liver or germ cell tumors. While these markers are primarily used to monitor treatment efficacy and detect recurrence, they serve as a crucial “early warning system” for high-risk individuals, enabling timely medical intervention when the chances of successful treatment are highest.
